Everything here is good, the carne asada plate is some of the best I've had anywhere, the staff is fun and the location is perfect. This place is a local institution been going for years and will continue to do so happily!

Tastes good, portions seem proper. To go order comes with the chips & salsa (not pictured but very fresh & good). Recommended.

My husband is an avid Jerry Arizona YouTube video watcher and El Patio is where they stop for food after their adventures, so naturally we had to go on our way back to Phoenix. We walked in and it was very lively. Brightly colored, music playing, big dog friendly patio. We were sat right away and our waitress was attentive. The chips were hot and salty and we were given three different kinds of salsas. She didn't hesitate to replenish our basket after we ravenously demolished the first helping. Not being chip shamed is always appreciated. We got the three item combination with two chimichangas and one carne asada taco to share. The chimis were especially delightful because the tortilla was crispy the entire length instead of just on the ends. The chicken inside was also really well seasoned. There was a generous helping of rice and beans on the side. It was plenty of food for two people. Our friends ordered the margaritas and they were a respectable size and well priced. Definitely worth the stop now that we know it's there.

Food was delicious and authentic. Salsa was flavorful with a kick. So glad we stopped here after Out of Africa. The reviews were on point! The carne asada is really, really good. There's an outside patio so you can bring your dogs. Inside was vibrant and staff were very nice. We will definitely be coming here again.
